NEUTRINO AND MULTI WAVELENGTH EMISSION FROM INTERACTION- POWERED SUPERNOVAE
abstract
Luminous optical transients from stellar explosions, such as Type IIn supernovae and their superluminous counterparts, are thought to be powered by the collision of ejected stellar material with a dense circumstellar medium (CSM). This interaction generates shock waves in the CSM, accelerating particles to multi-PeV energies and emitting radiation across a broad range of frequencies. In my talk, I will discuss the conditions necessary for the observability of different wavelengths and their correlation with high-energy neutrinos detectable by the IceCube Neutrino Observatory.
